Artist's Comments

When the E-56 Carriers became more and more frequent as computer-controlled cargoships between Mars and Tellus, NASA constructed four gigantic devices which could hold them on the right course towards the destination no matter what happened. An old method was used, magnets which made the Carriers to be in the exact center of the devices while they glided towards their destinations to prevent collisions.

Some people called them bridges.
