Frozen Kingdom
Part five in: Forgotten Series

by Richard Karstrom

The spirit of the old king woke up, silently it passed through the destroyed corridors.
It went up through the stairs to it's old tower where it had spend most of it's time when it once were alive.
The roof was almost gone, but the window was still left, stood like a gaping hole in the ruins.
A tingling feel came into the spirit when it went through the room and stopped infront of the hole called window.
The sight of the beautiful old kingdom which it had ruled over thousand years ago
made the ball of maggots in its chest to beat faster.

Played with this in a day now, been trying hard with atmospheres and stuff.
It came five rendered pictures of this one, all of them has been used in this piece.
Brushed half of the ice by myself, the other was done by terragen.
I hate the options and how the ice appears when done by terragen, thats why i brushed it.
Im new in trying to brush things so I think this is good for being me with my low brushing skills.
I like the feeling of this one. Thats why it is worth a fifth place in my Forgotten Serie.

My dA-dream is to get a Daily Deviation, but it feels like I will have some years left to that goal.

Critique and Favourites are welcome.

Hihi... I like half of it, but like, half of the lake and the other half of the mountain.
A little more time with this and I think you can make it really realistic!

Nice job! Very realistic and well done work.
Sky seems almost like a real one, with a very little imagination I could believe it really is real..
Very good job on this one!
